Racing Dashboard Setup Guide - Retox Racing SimHub Installation

This guide covers the initial configuration, connecting the hardware, importing profiles, and adjusting display settings.
Step 1: Download Racing Dashboard Configuration Tool
Before setting up your racing dashboard display, you must install the SimHub configuration files for optimal racing game integration.
- Open the folder containing the Retox Racing software.
- Run the executable named
SimHub Configuration Tool.exe

- Click "Select SimHub Directory" and browse to your SimHub installation folder (typically
C:\Program Files (x86)\SimHuborD:\Program Files\SimHub). - Once the directory is selected, click the button labeled "Begin Setup / Start Update".
- Wait for the prompt "Configuration file updated successfully!" and close the tool.
Step 2: Connect Racing Dashboard Hardware to SimHub
- Launch the SimHub
application.

- Navigate to the Arduino tab on the left sidebar.
- Click on the My Hardware tab at the top.
- Under "Single Arduino Settings", ensure the device is detected.
- It should appear as "Retox Racing".
- Ensure the status indicator turns Green (Connected).
Step 3: Configure Racing Dashboard RGB LEDs and Lighting
- Stay in the Arduino section and click the RGB LEDs tab at the top.
- Click on Profiles manager.
- Select Import profile.
- Browse to your downloaded files and select
Any Game - Default Profile.ledsprofile. - If prompted to overwrite the default profile, click Yes.
- Adjust Brightness: Use the slider in the top right corner of this tab to adjust the LED brightness to your preference.
Step 4: Setup Racing Dashboard Display and Matrix Settings
- Navigate to the Display & Alerts tab (still within the Arduino section).

Brightness: Adjust the
Matrix brightnessslider. -
Orientation: Set
Matrix orientationto Portrait (180°) (or adjust based on your mounting position). -
Font: Select your preferred font from the dropdown (video uses
custommatrixfont8x8).

7-Segment Display Settings:
- Scroll down to the "Seven Segment Modules" section.
- Adjust the Main Intensity slider to change the brightness of the digital number display.
Step 5: Enable Racing Dashboard Keyboard Shortcuts
Configure keyboard shortcuts to switch between different racing dashboard screens during your sim racing sessions (e.g., Flag status, Speed, Gear, RPM, Lap times):
- Go to Settings (General SimHub settings) on the left sidebar.
- Click on Plugins.
- Scroll down and find Keyboard Emulator.
- Ensure the toggle switch is set to On.

Shift + 9on your keyboard to cycle through the different display screens on the device.

Step 1: Driver Installation
First, you must install the necessary driver for the display to be recognized by Windows.
- Download the RX-04 driver files from here:

- Locate the provided driver files.
- Right-click on the file named
USB_Display.inf. - From the dropdown menu, select "Install".
- A window will appear with the message: "The operation completed successfully." Click OK.
Step 2: Windows Display Configuration
Next, you need to configure Windows to use the RX-04 as a separate screen.
- Right-click on your desktop and select "Display settings".
- In the Display settings window, scroll down to the "Multiple displays" section.
- Click the dropdown menu and select the "Extend these displays" option.
- Your RX-04 screen will now act as a second monitor.
Step 3: SimHub Software Configuration
Finally, configure the SimHub software to send dashboard data to your new screen.
- Open the SimHub application.

- From the main menu on the left, navigate to the "Devices" tab.
- Click the "Add new device" button.
- A new window titled "Pick a supported device" will open. Select "Generic Monitor (HDMI, DP...)" from the list and click OK.
- A new "Generic Monitor" will be added to your list of devices. Make sure it is enabled by clicking the toggle switch next to it.
- With the new monitor selected, scroll down to the "Target monitor" settings.
- Click the button that says "Click to define target monitor".
- Choose your RX-04 screen from the list of available displays that appears.
- Click OK.
Your SimHub dashboard should now be active and displayed on your RX-04 screen.
