This tutorial guides you through the process of installing SimHub, configuring the "Custom Serial Devices" plugin, and setting up your hardware (v5.3.0) for racing simulators like Assetto Corsa.

Step 1: Download and Install SimHub

  1. Visit the official SimHub website.
    Download here: https://www.simhubdash.com/download-2/

Step 2: Enable the Custom Serial Devices Plugin

  1. Launch SimHub.
  2. Go to the Settings tab on the left sidebar.
  3. Navigate to the Plugins section.
  4. Scroll down to find "Custom serial devices".
  5. Toggle the switch to Enable this plugin.
  6. Note: You may need to restart SimHub or check the left sidebar for the new "Custom serial devices" tab to appear.

Step 3: Import Device Settings

  1. Click on the "Custom serial devices" tab in the left menu.
  2. Look for the "Import settings" option (usually located under the "Export and import" section at the bottom or via a menu).

  5. Click Open to load the settings.

Step 4: Connect the Hardware

  1. Connect your device to the computer via USB.
